Chocho alvan is living in iquitos is a music teacher right now.
Edagrd alvan is retired now, he was math teacher at school.
pedro alvan, is still in iquitos living in the family house.
He works here and there in some small jobs.

Just picked this one up and “Cuarto Oscuro” is so tough! There’s an almost identical version of it by Los Sirios, possibly a tab bit funkier. Thanks for putting me up on this!

I often have daydreams of being a Zhero. Preferably the largest one on the right. The recording is so great cause there is this natural reverb on the timbale set that you can really hear the room they are in, like you are sitting there in a cuarto oscuro in Lima watching the fog slip by the rebarb and brick, while downstairs there’s a guy cooking anticuchos on the sidewalk, kids playing soccer and the rest of the Zheros smiling and jamming.
